Named for Mama Quilla or Killa, a Pre-Columbian powerful moon goddess and mother of the mythological founders of the Peruvian Empire.  She is the overseer of marriages and protector of women, and was known as the "Golden Goddess".  Here we have created an ultra light statement earring inspired by her made out of hammered and polished nu-gold brass, all sealed to protect the finish and then hung from nickel-free 14k gold filled ear wire.
